I think it's been agreed that we have to decide what we're going to do with this. Now the big question lies here:
Do we want to deploy units from each side, and play it like a double sided deployment map.
Or do we want to have specific people(Probably Wax, most of all) Work out 'campaign' like maps, for trying to take each other's territory. Specific areas would be custom made for the CO using them.
Or, the third option. We branch slightly out from AW's style things and, say, make it more of a nation-management. Make it indepth, resources production, technology advancements. You have to have the resources to support your army, otherwise it doesn't work.
And etc. Still have the battles like actual AW battles, but the background would be whole nation management.
Anyways, so, what shall it be? We do need to work this out. I look forwards to hearing your opinions.
(Also, there is option numero quatro. An idea I haven't come up with at all!)

Personally I like the third idea, I think that’s more in line with what the original Omega had intentioned. However this would probably be better as the background of the individual nations, as has be mentioned, plus it gives a good incentive for roll playing. The actual battles, which I think most of us are interested in, would be more classic AW stile fights once the two (or three or four) opponents have be decided/agreed upon.
Also, this was brought up ages ago, but will have tag matches? I imagine they would be few and far between but I can’t see why we couldn’t have them.

I'll agree. I reckon that although they shouldn't be often, a Tag match would be fun. (Heck, without them we wouldn't be able to use our Tag Quotes!)
I also think that with the Management part, the different teams should perhaps have different specialities?
(Like Technology advancement for Cobalt Ice...)

The third one may be interesting, but it's also the most difficult to do, and I don't know if we can avoid completely missing the point. I would rather try some mix of the first and the second, with the third on the background: The unit buying thing done before the fights would serve as the pre-deployed forces on Campaign-style maps, and why not with bases to deploy emergency forces.

Oh... I like the bases for emergency forces idea. They could be more expensive than normal (or the price they are in the games and make all the pre-bought units cheep) but with the benefit of being summoned in the middle of the map conversely they could be cheap but would disperse after the battle is over.
This also brings up using cities/bases fore healing. I mean we should still be able to do it, but as we know in the games this cost’s money. Should the money come from our countries (not a good idea as that would be way too much management) or should we have some sort of filed allowance that every Co gets during the fight (we could use this to buy the emergency troops as well solving 2 problems). Of course we could just make healing free.
I also like the teams having different specialities but “technological advancement” is a pretty board term. Now specialising in different types of technology (Robotics, genetic engineering, or just bigger better weapons) or just having access to specific technologies the other teams can’t, that would work.
And one we figure that out, the teams can discuss what technologies they can develop (yet another opportunity for roll playing) which can result in new unique faction unites (like, Ninjas, Giant Robots, Werewolves) and passive devices you can bring along that can help you in battle (Computer viruses, Weather control machines, Orbital satellite lazes).

For the emergency forces, I thought about them being weak defense-wise, because what people suppress when they lack time is armors. For the teching thingy, I kinda don't like the idea of having the countries rule. Each CO gives something else to his country than only an option for fights. Sadly, Jinn, your last idea would be too difficult to be usable... I think, since we had already given up on the idea of using custom units.

Duh, I have a little absence and see what comes... Let me give my opinion on some stuff. 3rd option is by far the best, and the one that is debated. apparently, custom units aren't supposed to be allowed here. I think we can develop supporting stuff (like the Great Owl, Flash's plane MADE ENTIRELY OUT OF GUNS could pummel the enemies and stuff), but NO custom units (sorry Flash). Those are my basic thoughts and I'm too busy at the moment to think more...

So the third option seems to be the favoured one...

Yes, for the nation management and all, we must already have a contextual continent that actually has a form. I mean, I (and surely everyone else) have no idea what the place where we're fighting looks like... I could create a large overview of the continent, but not much more...

That sounds like a good idea wax.

We do need a map. Very good point.

Well, if you want me to create a global map for the continent, I'd like something like the overall geography of your countries. Also, should I use the DS or the DoR Editor to get my map screenshot?

Use Dual Strike.
that other, inferior website uses DOR.

My Thoughts; Pink Cosmos would most likely be in the centre with Colbert Ice up top and Brown Dessert off to the side and Jade Sun on the other, arranged in such a way that every country connects to one another, so that anyone can attack anyone and we all have a reason to be hostile..ish.
I would also say that Jade Sun would be a series of archipelagos (since it is based on grease) with one or two big islands, Pink Cosmoses would probably be the smallest nation but would have lots of good farmland and natural resources and Brown Desert would be the biggest but would be mostly well desert.

Use Dual Strike. that other, inferior website uses DOR. Hey, I happen to be part of that "other, inferior website" too. BTW, right now, this site's the laughing stock of the others, let's prove them that we too belong here. BTW, I doubt that Panicattack will be returning. Also, DoR is the best AW game, so...yeah. That's all I got.
